1. Human Resources Generalist

Your Role at Sephora…
The HR Generalist provides on-site leadership and partnership to Sephora Distribution Center management and employees to deliver a spectrum of strategic and tactical HR support and programs which are aligned with the Supply Chain business initiatives. In this role you will manage or provide consultative services on the full spectrum of the employee life-cycle from recruitment to off-boarding. You will engage and manage employee relations matters to ensure all employees are treated fairly, provided with competitive wages, benefits, and sound working conditions. The HR Generalist is a constant champion for Sephora’s principles-based culture and core values and drives HR functional excellence and process improvement.
Plan & Align. Act as a resource for and ensure an open line of communication is maintained with business partners for fair and consistent interpretation and application of company policies and procedures. Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment laws.
Engage & Retain. Drive engagement efforts aimed at creating and maintaining a positive work environment. Assist in the performance evaluation program and provide feedback and recommendations to business partners. Partner with appropriate leadership team members to provide coaching and counseling to employees to resolve performance issues. Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Drives Results. Consistently monitor and rely on HR data to drive greater distribution center performance through employees. Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; succession planning, productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

We would love to hear from you if have…
- Three or more years of related human resources experience, preferably in a distribution center or manufacturing plant. HR certification strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to effectively give and receive feedback in a professional and respectful manner that sets an example to others
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge and application of HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce, Success Factors, Eightfold)
- MS Office Suite with strong MS Excel skills

As a member of the Business Development team, you will support the team by preparing & quality checking quotes, creating PowerPoint and Canva presentations, assisting in the Onboarding of new clients & performing various other administrative tasks.
Job Responsibilities
- Presentation & Documentation
- Prepare proposals & other business development materials utilizing PowerPoint & Canva
- Organize & maintain templates & materials
- Prepare detailed meeting minutes during team meetings & distribute as needed
- CRM Management
- Update prospect & client information in CRM system ensuring data accuracy
- Manage CRM data & documents including meeting notes, status, etc.
- Prospect Quoting
- Prepare quotes for potential clients based on their requirements
- Perform quality checks on quotes to ensure accuracy
- Maintain & update quoting procedures
- Customer Onboarding
- Set up new client accounts & prepare contracts
- Track needed documentation from other business areas such as billing & insurance
- Ensure smooth transition & positive experience for new customers
- Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support to the Business Development Team
- Handle communications & correspondence related to Business Development
- Identify improvements to processes & administrative procedures
- Assist in implementation of new tools & technologies to enhance efficiency
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
