1. Patient Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting patients via phone calls, emails, and chat to facilitate their appointment scheduling and rescheduling needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients in scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments over the phone, via email, and through chat services.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain patient records and appointment schedules in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
  • Verify patient insurance information and eligibility, as needed.
  • Educate patients on appointment procedures, required documentation, and any pre-appointment instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and data protection regulations


Requirements

  1. Previous experience in US-based customer support, patient support, or a related role.
  2. Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  3. Strong english communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Program Overview

The Land Registration in Merged Areas (LRMA) activity is a United States Agency for International Development, (USAID) funded project that will support the establishment of a land registration system in the seven districts of the Merged Areas. The activity will improve the accessibility of land records; effectuate land transactions; allow the use of land as collateral and complement the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s efforts under the Settlement and Land Record activity.

Overview of the Position

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure smooth communication and coordination between sub-divisions and the Land Settlement Unit (LSU) for successful land settlement operations. This involves close collaboration with the settlement office of the respective sub-division to discuss the progress, issues, and communication requirements. In addition, the role requires facilitating effective communication between the field staff working in the sub-divisions and the senior management of the SDLR Project for the timely resolution of any issues that may arise.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will be expected to assist the field staff in providing daily progress reports and consolidating field issues and challenges for the SDLR Project. Finally, the role would also involve supporting the senior planning officer (SPO) in smoothly running the official business within the LSU of SDLR in the MDs. The seven positions will coordinate with the settlement offices of the seven subdivisions, including Hassan Kheil, Darra Adam Kheil, Landi Kotal, Khar-Bajaur, Wazir-Bannu, Khuram Upper, and Kurram Lower.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Regularly engage with the settlement office of the respective sub-division to discuss progress, challenges, and communication.
  • Compile GIS equipment utilization information for the LSU.
  • Perform accurate data entry and manage GIS datasets.
  • Ensure that information flows seamlessly between the settlement office and the Land Settlement Unit.
  • Implement effective communication channels to address and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist field personnel in creating accurate and thorough daily progress reports. Consolidate field issues and challenges and provide summaries for presentation to LSU management.
  • Assist the Senior Planning Officer in coordinating and overseeing the activities within the settlement offices.
  • Maintain meticulous records of meetings, communications, and issue resolutions.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to field staff, enhancing their reporting and communication skills.
  • Ensure strict compliance with SDLR policies and procedures in all land settlement activities.
  • Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills, Languages.):

Bachelor’s degree (BS Four years).

  1. Minimum of one year of experience in a related field.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  4. The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  5. Proficient in relevant software applications, including MS Word and MS Excel.
